Many of such painters experimented with different forms, themes, textures, styles, and media but very few of the experiments were accepted but the art lovers.

Undoubtedly, Leonardo da Vinci is the one of the French famous painters. His artistic movement influenced the French history to a great extent. Leonardo was born on April 15th 1452, he was known for his unquenchable curiosity. He is widely considered to be one of the perhaps painters of all time and perhaps the most diversely talented person ever to have lived. He was born as an illegitimate son of a notary, Piero da Vinci, and Caterina, a peasant woman. Leonardo studied in the studio of the renowned Florentine painter, Verrocchio. He later worked in Rome, Bologna and Venice and spent his last years in France, at the home awarded him by Francis I.
