The term figure drawing is also known as Life Drawing and can be easily learnt through a life drawing class. Life drawing is nothing, but drawing the naked human body. Life drawing has always been the cornerstone of artistic training, but is very popular among amateur and professional artists.
Find a life drawing class: Try your local society to find out a reputable class. Very often art groups gathering informally and hiring a model. But the time for you has not come yet, as a beginner, you need to attend some life drawing class, and it is worth paying the extra for a life drawing artist. You can recognize the level of professionalism by the treatment being given to the model and the working of the students.

Overcome shyness: No need to feel shy or uncomfortable when attending your life drawing classes. The models used to give nude poses are highly professionals and are under the observation of the life drawing artist. You’ll find yourself more focused on the problems of drawing the body as a collection of lines or values that you’ll forget any awkwardness about nudity.
Things you need for free life drawing: Mostly your institute will provide you easels and drawing boards, and you’ll need to bring paper (usually large, inexpensive ‘butcher’s paper’ – newsprint – for starters), charcoal, an eraser, and perhaps bulldog clips to hold your paper – but this may vary depending on the class, so check materials requirements when you enroll. Make sure you have plenty of paper. It’s also handy to have some wipes or a rag to clean your hands, and a snack.
Your First Class: Life classes and models can be expensive; I don’t think you will easily find free life drawing classes, so make sure you arrive on time to make the most of your class, and so you don’t disturb others. Most life drawing classes commence with some quick warm-up sketches. Then they may do some longer five to fifteen minute poses.
Though there are no free life drawing classes but you surely can find some help from internet.
