Abstract art works is an expression of mind and emotion in the form of small art works which is portrayed through visual forms of language, or a combination of colors and lines. These are very different from the natural visual paintings that we see much regularly in the various exhibitions and websites. This kind of painting was started in Europe during the renaissance period which was an era of reasoning, enlightenment and rationality. People in those times had learned to give out their own perspective in life which later helped them stay different from the others in the society. And this was how abstract art was influenced and discovered. The artist of this art used to produce visual illusion of the real things in life.

Even the art which are quite similar to each other can be considered as abstract as the actual representation depends on the minds of the people. Abstract art though abstract can be recognized easily if you understand the meaning of all the colors used as well as the vision of the  artist. More emphasis is laid on the combination of the colors, and the patterns of lines wherein the artists have the liberties of changing the colors and patterns accordingly. Some of the paintings are partially abstract. Lyrical abstract art and geometric art are 100 percent abstract in the genre of abstract art.

In the 19^th century which was also known as  the  period of impressionist movements abstract art gained momentum and is continuing to be as famous in the 20 the century as an art known as non objective and non iconic .

The artists make new forms of art wherein there were only marks and dimensional constructions. In order to make an abstract painting an artist should have good power of imagination and a marvelous sense of creation. One should know the perfect sense of blending and mix of colors to give the exact meaning to the painting. One should concentrate on the object one want  to paint and then go on to abstract it. There are different factors affecting the painter’s painting such as music, mood, emotion, sensitivity and last but not the least his power of creation.
